Professional Coaching

Thorne Snooker Centre is privileged to be able to offer professional coaching of a unique style known as "The Fine Art" method.

The style was devised by Danny Marner, who has studied , played and coached the game of snooker for over 40 years, resulting in the publication of a book on the method and a few excellent exponents of the game. One such person of particular interest to us is our very own Ian Glover.

Ian started playing at the age of 13 making his first 100 break at the same age and his first 147 break at the age of 15. Ian turned professional at a young age and is currently out of the professional circuit, however, in addition to being an excellent player he has been given permission by Danny to coach using the method.

PRICES:

BASIC PRICE  :  £ 15 per hour session

BLOCK BOOKINGS (payable in advance) :

4 sessions   -   £ 50

8 sessions   -   £ 80

All prices include table time etc so there is nothing else to pay.

Normal coaching hours:

Mon :  7pm-9pm

Tue  :        -

Wed :  6pm-7pm

Thu  :  7pm-9pm

Fri    :        -

Sat   :  All day

Sun  :  6pm-8pm

Coaching outside of these hours is available by special arrangement only.
